Spherion Staffing is looking for temporary candidates with 2-3 years of TOP NOTCH customer service experience for the role of Intake Specialist. The intake team intakes the escalated complaint and directs it to the appropriate research group. Qualified applicants must have 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry and proven 2-3 years of TOP NOTCH customer service skills. Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
Assignment length 6 months
Pay $20+/hour
Responsibilities:
-Support internal and external customers with inquiries and complaints regarding financial products and services
-Seek ways to determine appropriate course of action, conduct investigative steps to identify the issues, and process complex transactions online
-Perform moderately complex initiatives to resolve client issues and review complaints for regulatory and non-regulatory flags, and classify risks appropriately in case management system to ensure customer issues are addressed while maintaining compliance with internal company requirements and standards
-Receive direction from supervisors, and escalate non-routine client concerns to more experienced individuals
-Interact with internal and external customers to respond to the raised concerns, as well as determine appropriate course of action
-Serve as an intermediary between parties to resolve disputed matters, negotiate, and enact settlements accordingly

-Must be able to show empathy in writing and speaking to customers
-Communication skills, organization, time management and ability to multitask
-Ability to work independently and self-manage workload to meet deadlines
-High attention to detail and high quality of work
