The Role:


Currently, we are seeking to hire a Part-Time, Temporary HRIS Analyst. As a HRIS Analyst, you will support, explore, and enable system functionality, build foundation for meaningful data insights, transform report delivery by enabling use of dashboard and data visualization, become subject matter expert for HRIS systems, data integrity, testing of system changes, analyzing processes and workflows to support continuous improvement, elevating end user experience and customer satisfaction within HRIS and Lovesac system infrastructure.


This position is considered remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate Headquarters based Stamford, CT.

This is a part-time, temporary role at 29 hours per week, with an expected length of assignment of 3 months and potential to go longer. Must be available to work within the hours of 9am-5pm EST.


Summary of Key Job Responsibilities:


  • Provide HRIS support (Paycom) regarding system issues and technical problems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and defects with exceptional customer service.
  • Actively participate in design, planning, implementation and support of business process configuration, security, and administration.
  • Makes recommendations for system enhancements, process improvements and controls.
  • Manage the testing and documentation of all HR related processes in the HR information system.
  • Manages, maintains, and audits security roles in compliance with internal policies.
  • Provides access to data and tools necessary to support the creation and maintenance of HRIS ad hoc reports and routine reporting.
  • Produce and submit reports as needed regarding general HR analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design reporting solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve Power BI capabilities.
  • Migrating internal operational reporting to Power BI, creating reports, data visualizations, and dashboards to support business needs.
  • Support ad-hoc HR projects, audits, employee events, surveys, providing analysis as needed.
  • Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally and respectfully in accordance with our company standards.

  • Perform any other duties as requested by management.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Concentration in HR, IT, or Computer Sciences preferred. Technical proficiency and capability to troubleshoot and learn new systems is a must.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge in excel required (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience and knowledge of Workday.
  • Minimum of 2 years of data visualization experience, including 2 years of recent Microsoft Power BI.
  • Capable of taking on additional HR responsibilities (HRIS data entry, point of contact within HR, etc. as designated by manager.
  • Must be results driven and utilize knowledge to meet or exceed KPIs and goals.
  • Must have proven time management skills and quickly adapts to a changing business environment.
  • Able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to listen and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations.
  • Must take accountability and responsibility for your actions.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Must have superior communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions.

  • Must comply with the standards, policies and procedures outlined in the Lovesac Employee Handbook.
  • Must be capable of using and operating all equipment as required, including but not limited to: iPad, laptop, etc. Be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor or in our warehouse.

Associate pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level and competencies.

Our Touchpoints, including our website, are open seven days a week and may require availability outside normal weekday hours.
