Job Purpose
The Golf Shop Attendant provides excellent customer service to the golfing public in the areas of tee time reservation, golfer check-in, fee collection, play on the course and golf simulators, cash reconciliation, and other duties as assigned by the Golf Operations Manager and Assistant Golf Professional
Essential Duties

DutyI: Administer the daily operation of use of golf course, practice areas, and golf simulators. 100%Time
Essential Tasks:
- Manage the daily play on the golf course and golf simulators using the tee time reservation system;
- Accurately collect fees and golf shop purchases through cash, check, credit card, gift certificate, or member credit book transactions;
- Answer phone calls regarding tee time reservations, tournaments, and Golf Programs;
- Assist customers in the purchase of golf shop merchandise;
- Promote all golf course and restaurant activities and programs;
- Maintain the clean and organized appearance of the golf shop and golf simulators;
- Assist with the operation of tournaments and programs;
- Clean and park golf carts from rental fleet;
- Enforce all rules and regulations governing usage of the golf course, driving range, and golf simulators.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Related to this Position:
Knowledge of:
- Golf course tee time reservations, start times, and on-course pace of play;
- Cash handling and daily reconciliation practices.
SkillsandAbilitiesto:
- Operate computer software programs and point of sale terminals;
- Provide excellent customer service;
- Maintain a calm, professional manner in all situations;
- Effectively communicate both orally and in writing;
- Work independently and as a part of a team.
License and/or Certificate Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record at the time of hire and have the ability to obtain a valid MT driver's license within six months of hire.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Training):
- Must be 16 years of age or older;
- Experience in working at a golf course or in retail is preferred.
