Temporary Full-time MIG Welders

Basin Material Handling (Mitchell, IN) is seeking temporary, full-time MIG Welderswith immediate availability.   

MIG welders need to perform a variety of welding functions and should be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment. We are looking for safety-minded individuals with an eye for detail and an excellent work ethic who want to grow with us.

Duties:                                                                                       

• Manually guides electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld and size of molten puddle. 
• BPS reporting and metrics are required, including 5S.           
• Other duties as assigned.

Other Duties

• Assist other departments as required.
• May act as line leader, setting up lines, and checking weld quality of co-workers as required.
• Other Duties as assigned

Schedule: 
Regular Schedule:  Monday-Friday 5:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. with Saturdays as needed
If scheduled to work overtime, schedule is as follows:  Monday-Thursday 5:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Friday 5:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and Saturday 5 hours (typically 5:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.) 
Will be required to work overtime as needed
