The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Kutztown University invites applications for two Temporary Faculty Positions for the 2024-2025 academic year. One position will be full-time for the academic year, and preference will be given to candidates with some industry and/or teaching experience in Information Technology. The second position will be three-quarter time in the fall semester with the potential for full-time in the spring semester.
In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related area. Teaching will include introductory Computer Science classes for majors and non-majors; one position will include IT courses.
