We’re hiring a temporary Administrative Assistant in Fayetteville, AR. This is a part-time, temporary position with an approximate end date of August 31, 2024. In this position, you will work 28 hours per week. This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule. Our office is in Fayetteville, AR.

 

This position will provide support to the Northwest Arkansas development team including data entry, reporting, and event planning support.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Assistance to Senior Director and Director of Development for Heart Ball and Go Red for Women Campaigns.
  • Manage data entry pertaining to donor records and donation information.
  • Build donor receipt acknowledgements and pull and run reports.
  • Provide support to participants and partners such as customer service, training, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Focus on detailed, potentially tedious tasks for several hours while ensuring quality and accuracy. Follow detailed directions.
  • Ensure accurate and complete data entry, as well as accurate spelling/grammar.
  • Interface with external and internal customers in a friendly, professional manner via phone or email.
  • Assist with event support, execution, and planning.
  • Prepare, interpret, and disseminate information concerning organizational programs and procedures.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, studies, forms, and documents.
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain record keeping and filing systems for area of responsibility.
  • Manage volunteers, volunteer stakeholder groups and distribution lists.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with all levels in the organization and outside contact volunteers and the public.
  • Conduct basic research including gathering and assimilating information pertinent to assignments using the Internet and other resources.

  • Experience in office administration and/or event/meeting planning in a similar support role.
  • Knowledge of and skill in report preparation, proofreading and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with people in a variety of positions and levels, both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of maintaining and organizing data with precise attention to detail.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, resourceful, and exhibit initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written business communications skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
  • Quickly learn new and complex software.
