Part-time, Seasonal and Temporary (January 3rd-June 14th)
Monday - Friday, 3pm – 6:15pm
Pay Range: $15/hr
Position Summary
The Kids After School Program (ASP) is an outreach ministry of Allegheny Center Alliance Church.
The Kids ASP Assistant Director is primarily responsible for providing support to the teaching staff, parents, volunteer tutors, and students of the program. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to student recreations, devotions, life-skills and STEAM instruction opportunities, parent communication, student discipline and tutoring. In addition, the Assistant Director will provide program evaluation and improvement recommendations, and identity field trip opportunities and related planning.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily functions of the Kids ASP.
- Build relationships with existing and new organizations who are/may participate in the Kids ASP.
- Maintain rotating schedule/activities for After School Programming.
- Evaluate staff and volunteer performance, providing continuous feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain positive connections with students, staff, and parents.
- Assist in scheduling field trips and prepare field trip schedules.
- Assist staff and volunteers in the classroom where/when needed.
- Monitor classrooms to make sure each room is running efficiently and effectively.
- Assist the Kids Director in handling parent issues, counselor issues, and student issues.
- Collect and maintain daily attendance.

- Administration skills.
- Conflict resolutions skills.
- Handle confidential situations and maintain confidentiality.
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Have financial integrity.
- Model spiritual leadership and lifestyle consistent with the beliefs of ACAC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Well organized.
- Able to self-manage.
- Conflict resolution
- A servant of God and lover of people.
- A love for urban elementary age students.
- Ability to maintain healthy relationships with co-workers.
- Creative.
- Ability to plan and organize.
- Good communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- To be able to lift, bend, use a step ladder.
- Walk back and forth to local schools for pickup
- Set up and tear down of ministry spaces
