Job Requirements
- Experience Required
- Provides exceptional customer service by meeting all customer demands as they relate to relatively straightforward inquiries, with the support of more experienced personnel.
- Generally resolves problems independently, escalating more difficult issues to management.
- Processes regular Teller transactions for customers including but not limited to servicing customer accounts, accepting loan payments, accepting safe deposit box payments, cashing checks, verify currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits
- Adheres to safe deposit box procedures/ operations and guidelines.
- Expected to service both lobby and drive-thru Customers.
- Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
- Open new accounts - personal, business, estates, trusts, etc.
- Maintenance of current accounts
- Assist customers with IRA accounts and transactions including contributions, distributions, rollovers and transfers
- Assist customers with deceased/estate related issues and accounts
- Assist customers with routine account-related requests such as: stop payments, inquiries about bank deposit products and service charges, inquiries about ATM and debit card usage and limits, inquiries about checking and savings accounts transactions, inquiries about funds availability, and check verification requests by third parties.
- Research and resolve customer problems,
- Research customer questions regarding electronic funds transfers and initiate disputes when appropriate, including the completion of all necessary documents and affidavits.
- Balance customer checkbooks.
- Perform customer requested research, including printing statements and check copies.
- Process address changes, check orders, and ATM/debit card orders
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year related experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- General Math skills.
- Detail orientated and able to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
