Virtual/Teletherapy Bilingual School Speech Language Pathologist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a remote school SLP in Pennsylvania for the 2023-2024 school year. As a remote SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and accommodations to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and treatment plans
- Attend and participate in meetings with school staff, parents, and other professionals as needed
- Keep up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and techniques in speech-language pathology
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited university
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a school-based SLP
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and technology
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
VOCO Requirements:
- Must have license
- At least two years of school experience
- Home computer with high internet speed
- Must be tech savvy (we do have training for the software!)
- Must provide your own liability insurance and be comfortable with being a 1099 contractor
