Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and professional Phone Operator to join our team. As a Phone Operator, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth communication within the organization. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle multiple phone lines, and exceptional phone etiquette.
Duties:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Take messages and relay them accurately to the intended recipients
- Provide information to callers about company products, services, and policies
- Assist with dispatching calls or coordinating appointments as needed
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer information in the system
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with callers
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and scheduling appointments
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Proficient in using phone systems and comfortable handling multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Bilingual skills (multilingual) are a plus, but not required
- Previous experience as a Call Center or Telephone Operator
- Proficient in data entry and basic computer skills
- Knowledge of proper phone etiquette and customer service principles
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
