Job Description:

***Must have PA license, FBI fingerprints before being submitted. 13-week contract for a telemetry RN with stroke and/or trauma experience. BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification Required. TNC or TNCC preferred. 1 – 2 year telemetry experience a must and one year of trauma and/or stroke experience preferred. Must be able to interpret ekg strips and have prior experience infusing and titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem and amiodarone). This is a 30-bed unit that receives general telemetry patients to include, chest pain, N-Stemi, CHF, COPD exacerbations, and early sepsis. This unit is also the overflow unit stroke and trauma patients. Facility is currently preparing for level II trauma status. Facility is Stroke certified and AMI certified. Also received 2017 Get with the Guidelines: Gold for A Fib, Gold Plus for Heart Failure, Gold Plus for Stroke, and Silver for Resuscitation. Agency staff encouraged to participate unit based committees.

Additional Information And Terms**As of 4/18 New MSA in effect and 16 hours of orientation will not be billable. **Must be willing to float to similar or lower acuity units if needed and work E/O holiday and E/O weekend. **Any time off added or requested after confirming will not be approved. If your traveler is not cleared by the contracted start date, the bill rate is not guaranteed and is subject to decreasing based off of facilities current job postings. **Offer will remain out for 48 hrs, if there is no follow up from your agency, offer will be pulled.Facility Information
