This role will require a regular work schedule ending at 7:30PM CST, Monday through Friday.
As a telehealth Registered Nurse (RN) with Optum Specialty Pharmacy, you'll support a diverse member population with education, advocacy, and connections to resources they need to feel better and get well.
This is a high volume, customer service environment. You will need to be efficient, productive, and thorough, while providing quality patient care via telehealth activities. solid computer and software navigation skills are critical. You should also be patient-focused and adaptable to changes.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Using telehealth activities to assess members' current health status
- Identifying gaps or barriers in treatment plans
- Providing a complete continuum of quality care through close communication with members via telehealth interactions
- Supporting members with condition education, medication reviews, and connections to resources
- Collaborating with leadership and clinical peers to resolve complex issues or escalations, as needed
- Documenting patient interventions in pharmacy systems
- Maintaining clinical acumen for the disease states and medications managed by the Specialty Pharmacy
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications:
- Reside in a compact state and hold a current, unrestricted RN, Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), multistate license
- Obtain RN licensure in other non-compact states and/or US territories, including California, as required; must complete all requested non-compact RN licensure within the first year of hire
- 2 years of direct patient care as a RN
- MS Office proficiency (e.g., Word, Teams, Outlook)
- Ability to type and can navigate a Windows-based environment
- Ability to work an assigned 8-hour shift between the hours of: 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM CST
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current, unrestricted California RN license
- Experience in a telehealth role or call center experience
- Specialty and/or Oncology experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
