Infosys is seeking a Telecom C++,HP Nonstop Consultant - In this role you will contribute to the implementation of the Software Development lifecycle activities from development and testing to implementation and support activities as per project plan. You will provide support and improve the existing production workflows, create artifacts like test specifications, perform testing and implement relevant go live activities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients' business needs. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Irving, TX or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position will require relocation and or travel to project location.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years Information Technology
• Hands on experience in C++, HP Non-Stop platform, and Java
Preferred Qualification
• Should be able to analyze, debug, profile and develop programming language source code as part of L2/L3 support.
• Interface with product support groups and internal support groups to facilitate case resolution.
• Inspire customer feedback and escalate major, recurrent issues that affects customer quality.
• Coordinate with on-site/Offshore support team.
• Maintain awareness of relevant technical and product trends through self-learning / study, training classes and job shadowing.
• Help grow team expertise through knowledge sharing (showcases, presentations and technical blogs) Contributing to wider services project work when appropriate, such as testing activities as part of knowledge transfer.
• Established project management skills and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
