Form of work Future Tech Enterprise is building a dynamic hardware deployment team responsible for the installation of cutting-edge technology hardware devices. The Technology Installation Supervisor/Project Manager will oversee the project, and team and be responsible for the overall success of the project.
This is a temporary, project-based, on-site position located at Hudson Yards.
The project is expected to last 4-6 months, commencing around April 1, 2024.
Schedule:
Standard work hours are Monday to Friday with an 8-hour workday.
Start/end times are flexible based on project progress and needs.
Responsibilities:
Manage project and team following the agreed-upon Project Plan and Schedule.
Conduct daily walk-throughs, reviewing the status of all equipment being installed at the customer's facility.
Serve as the single point of contact (POC) for the customer and other 3rd party providers.
Report on daily activity and provide daily status on what was scheduled, and has been completed and uncompleted.
Own all operational issues to closure.
Submit SNOW tickets to the onsite support team for any technical issues encountered outside the hardware deployment scope, if necessary
Promptly address personnel issues to ensure project schedules remain unaffected.
Manage the issues tracker and share with the client daily.
Report on all RMA requests including issues, replacement details, revised inventory, etc.
Manage the Risk Register and report on any issues impacting the overall Project Schedule.
Updating and managing the Asset Management Database.
Requirements:
3-5 years of Project Management experience.
1-3 years of experience in computer hardware services.
Experience executing multiple, simultaneous, and complex projects.
Excellent communication skills and professional presentation.
Well organized with strong attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated experience in implementing and documenting processes.
Strong work ethic, focused on success.
Advanced technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Project
Experience with SNOW is a plus
