- 2023 Technology-Cyber Threat Incident Response Summer Analyst Internship Program

- Throughout the ten-week internship, you will be embedded in our business and make a real contribution to building technology solutions for the benefit of our people, customers, and communities.
- The program kicks off with an orientation providing you with the opportunity to learn about the Macquarie business groups, meet fellow interns and expand your professional network.
- We provide formal training, but at its core the intern experience provides practical on-the-job learning to further your career.
- You’ll build strong connections and work collaboratively with your colleagues while also partnering directly with our business leaders on meaningful and challenging work.
- You will receive support from your manager and aligned mentor as you gain genuine insight into how technology fuels the finance industry.
- Additionally, you’ll participate in philanthropic and social events to connect you to our inclusive culture.
- Cyber Threat Incident Response (CTIR) Team
- The CTIR team is responsible for identifying, triaging, and mitigating threats and risks in our global cyber environment.
- The team also act to ensure that Macquarie’s digital estate is protected from threats both known and unknown.
- As an intern on the CTIR team, you will focus on fundamental alert triage, as well as assisting with research and development on one of our many ongoing security projects.
- You will continuously identify, assess and manage threats relative to the corporate risk appetite by leveraging technology and your education to analyze data.
- Experience in log aggregation and analysis will be crucial in detecting and triaging potential or active security incidents and will be part of your initial training.
