Research Technician safely performs specialized technical functions involving testing, analyzing, improving, installing, operating, and/or solving problems concerning complex processes, equipment, and products for assigned areas.
- Conducts hands-on experiments as assigned according to standard operating procedures or other specific instructions. Typical experiments include preparing test samples, testing on a variety of specialized equipment and software, and reporting results to other team members.
- Supports engineers and scientists in R&D team, and executes and/or supports commercial and manufacturing support requests.
- Manages and documents projects and tasks effectively with supervision.
- Plays a leading role in lab management: safety aspects, equipment maintenance, 5S, lab audit preparation and action follow-up, lab postings, regular equipment checks etc.
- Demonstrates open and collaborative approach in all areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a plus!
