Form of workResponsible for installation and monitoring of various equipment located in Boyd Datacenters and IDF closets located at Boyd Gaming Corporation properties, including but not limited to A/C, Power, Backup power, UPS, Servers, Network equipment and providing layer-one connectivity. Employee will also be responsible for escort of team members and vendors to the various Data Center and IDF closets when required.
- Assist Monitoring and maintaining proper power, temperature, and humidity levels in the Datacenter.
- Assist in compiling and maintaining detailed elevation diagrams of all Datacenters and IDF closets
- Assist in ensuring that preventive maintenance schedules are followed on all systems, including the fire suppression system.
- Assists in the coordination and replacement of UPS equipment.
- Follow action plans and task lists for steady-state initiatives and routine maintenance.
- Assist in enforcing Datacenter/IDF Standards including cabling, layout, labeling, and general cleanliness and order.
- Assist in preparing and maintain appropriate documentation for systems installations, maintenance, testing, upgrades, and events.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures for Datacenter activities.
- Rack & stack, cable and label of various IT hardware with Datacenters and IDF closets.
- Keep management informed about status of projects and issues.
