Job Requirements/Responsibilities:
Leadership and technical background with capabilities to support and sustain process technologies assisting in
the development process at the Wafer Assembly Oregon Technology Development to meet quality, reliability,
cost, yield, productivity and manufacturability requirements.
Metrology Engineering Technicians perform metrology-related tasks to support experimental testing, research work, and defect excursion resolution. Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities are executed on the production floor.
Image Review and die loss taking.
Metrology inspections.
Coordination and submission of Failure Analysis requests.
A high level of attention to process parameter details required.
Respond to real time process excursions, containing material and completing documentation with
details to publish to factory stakeholders.
Highly matrixed environment interfacing with multiple development groups.
Identifying areas of improvements in quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/ capability,
productivity, safety and/or ergonomics.
Providing input to resolve difficult problems and efforts to establish systems to deal with these
problems in the future.
Must maintain flexibility to shift assignments for critical build support or training needs.
Must be flexible with changing priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.

Demonstrate technical written and verbal communication skills
Will have basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC)
Minimum Educational Requirement: BS degree preferred, HS diploma or Equivalent required.
