Superior is seeking hardworking individuals that possess a positive attitude to join our team. A Technician Assistant will work closely with our technicians to provide service and installations in fireplace products and chimneys, as well as the delivery and service of hot tubs and swim spas. This is an excellent oppurtunity for someone who likes every day to be a new challenge with some days taking you to multiple locations for service work.

Duties:

- Assist technicians in performing maintenance and repair tasks on fireplace products, including chimney repairs.

- Even when in a team setting, utilizing your training to service or construct parts of a job to achieve an overall goal.

- Analyze hearth products to complete diagnostics for repair

- Follow installation manuals to install/set up new products

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks

- Maintain accurate records of work performed

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

- Previous experience with hand tools required - Previous experience with mechanical tools preferred but not required.

- Basic knowledge of chimneys, gas/pellet/wood fireplaces, or hot tubs are a plus

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from technicians

- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report any issues or concerns

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
