Form of workAmazon Web Services (AWS) internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks during summer. By applying to this position, your application will be considered for all locations we hire for in the United States.
Are you a skilled communicator and technology enthusiast pursuing a future in technical writing? As a Technical Writer Intern, your responsibilities include producing high quality external publications to help AWS customers achieve their goals.
As an intern, you will collaborate with experienced Amazonians in a multi-disciplinary environment to complete a summer project. This is your opportunity to interact with mentors, learn the inner workings of AWS services, and be part of a team that influences the customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Produce high-quality documentation for AWS customers
- Follow a style guide to produce content that is consistent with AWS standards
- Produce examples for developers, such as example code, demo apps, or Jupyter notebooks

Utility Computing (UC)
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations - from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
