What You'll Do
Gabb is looking for a dynamicTechnical Writer to join its CX organization. The Customer Experience (CX) team at Gabb is on a mission to support our Product, Customer Support, and Marketing teams by building an incredible Help Center and Community Forum environment. We strive to provide key insights to ensure our customers can thrive.
As a Technical Writerat Gabb, you will help create and grow a top-tier Help Center (help articles/tutorials), Community Forum, and internal technical documentation by using best practices to write, maintain, and create better Help content that guarantees our customers feel empowered, heard, and valued.
- Deep dive into the understanding of Gabb products and services from the end user perspective.
- Collaborate with product managers, customer support trainers, and other stakeholders to gather information and create copy for new and existing products.
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive content for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Update articles and tutorial copy as needed to reflect changes in products or services.
- Manage all documentation projects from start to finish, including planning, writing, editing, and publishing.
- Create and improve internal technical documentation and content for Customer Support groups.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative leaders to help align content in the technical content with Gabb's overall brand voice.
- Translate technical product functionality and information into beautifully simple end user content.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, start up experience preferred.
- Experience working on an external facing self-service knowledge base, a plus.
- Ability to manage content (create, draft, edit, publish) using content management systems.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as Adobe Acrobat, MadCap Flare, Confluence, etc.
- Project management software experience like Jira, Asana, etc.
