Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced Technical Support Manager to work within our Charlotte, NC office at least three days a week. Other locations may be considered based on the hiring manager's discretion.

Role Overview:
The Technical Support Manager (TSM) works as a liaison between the Segra Enterprise Repair team and our top customers to drive communication, responsiveness and support, primarily during, but also post, network events. The position also communicates internally to key executives during customer affecting events. The position requires poise under pressure, the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly as well as experience to recognize the normal pace of repair and exceptions to that pace requiring management escalation.
Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within Telecommunications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or customer facing role providing Technical Support or technical guidance.
  • Prior professional experience in a hands-on role working with Telecommunications technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: College degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative and multi-tasking, and project oversight abilities.
