Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Software Development and Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to Software Development, project management for silicon development infrastructure, and infrastructure for silicon verification at the block & system levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrate design repository: the candidate will be responsible for the administration and Management of a version control repository
- Refactoring design/verification spaces: propose repository organization, for refactoring of design meta data, verification areas, generator files, and others
- Management of project tracking: prior to the project kick-off, the candidate will set up the project area, set up and administer program management and tracking, and implement regression automation deployment
- Consult on infrastructure for system level verification as well as subsystem level verification for interfaces such as DDR & PCIe
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 12+ years with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in Software Development and project management
- Proficiency in SVN, Atlassian, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
- Strong knowledge of Software Development methodologies and version control
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and consultation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on project needs

Benefits of working at Microchip
The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $75,000 - $232,000.*
*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
