We're recruiting a sales professional (engineer preferred) who understands the small electric motor and reducer industry. Our client is a manufacturer of induction motors, worm reducers, hollow reducers, spring-loaded brake motors, and planetary reducers to name a few. You should be an experienced Sales Engineer who understands this industry and has been successfully selling reducers and motors. You will have documented success in growing large territories and winning OEM deals. This is a new position. If you have attended ATX, Automate, Pack Expo, IMTS, AHR, NRA, or Semicon Trade Shows - we would like to speak with you. This is a hunter's role.
Responsibilities:
- Find the deals/opportunities and the viability of the potential of new accounts
- Lead by example by using your sales methods when conducting high-level sales presentations and sales calls
- Being successful in calling on engineering departments and establishing working and personal relationships with key decision-makers
- Understanding competitive pricing to negotiate contracts to the benefit of all.
- Effectively communicating market conditions to management for direction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Successful history of building a pipeline of OEMs and or Distributors. Understanding of the Small AC/DC electric motor and reducer market.
- OEM prototyping and application engineering experience
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to problem solve
- Engineering Degree Preferred
