Technical Representative is a critical TechOps role at Delta’s Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO). In this role, you will provide oversite of MROs that they are being maintained according to Delta and FAA specifications, including performing FOD walks, ensure safety, review of top drivers and ensuring accomplishment, review of non-routine work, and ensure key milestones are being met. This position will report directly to Delta Air Lines Maintenance Program Manager (MPM) and will be on-site at MRO locations that are performing maintenance activities on Delta Aircraft.
Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
- Review/negotiate solutions to issues related to cost, project timelines, work scope, compliance, and safety.
- Ensures timely and cost effective strategic, analytical, and tactical support of day-to-day operational requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Delta and FAA policies and procedures.
- This is a safety sensitive role which will require drug testing of the selected individuals.
- The minimum starting hourly rate for this position is $62.56 with a potential maximum hourly rate of $62.56. The ability to reach the maximum hourly rate is dependent upon several other offered premiums (Examples would include but not limited to - Airframe and Powerplant license, Shift differential, Station location differential, Line Maintenance differential, Skill differential).

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

- Must have valid driver's license.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Should have strong business acumen including structured problem solving, analytical skills, data analysis and solid understanding of business management concepts.
- Should possess strong operational, technical and leadership skills.
- Should have awareness of regulatory requirements regarding MRO operations.
- Should have a thorough understanding of FAR’s, Delta’s Policies and Procedures, TOPP compliance standards, operations, maintenance, and reliability programs.
- Should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills (both internal and external). Should be highly motivated and have ability to support business directives to reach common goal.
- Possess broad experience in airline operations including a proven technical and troubleshooting background.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- Heavy Maintenance experience preferred.
- MRO experience preferred.
- Must be Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) or higher classification and MUST have a current Airframe and Powerplant license.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MSProject). Must have working knowledge of Tech OP’s information systems: MIRS, GEM, SAP and TechOps homepage navigation.
