The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced IT Project Manager familiar with Agile development methodologies? Have you worked to oversee developer teams through the entire SDLC ensuring on-time, quality product development? As an IT Project Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to support the management of an Agile IT organization, working closely with executives, business Product Owners, and developer teams to deliver mission-critical custom applications. You will act as the central interface between Product Owners helping to define application requirements to meet their business needs, and developer teams to ensure that delivery remains on schedule, produces quality bug-free deployments, and that any risks or issues are mitigated in a timely manner.
You will directly oversee two to three Agile development teams on the client’s DevOps support contract, embedding yourself in all their Agile ceremonies to provide oversight for product development from the initial setting of PI objectives through supporting obtaining approvals for change, conducting production readiness reviews, and ensuring teams are prepared for successful deployments. You will support vendor management, assisting with administrative functions, including SLA compliance and leading Quality Assurance activities for all the software development in your assigned team’s purview. You will interact directly with Agile Scrum Teams, supporting PI and Sprint planning, execution, and closeout, while assuring adherence to the contract-established performance measures and the agency-established Agile Handbook. You will help ensure efficient and timely software development to meet client-defined priorities and legislative mandates, executing defined IT program strategy and operations plans. You will also work to address ad hoc requests and data calls from stakeholders and product owners and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues as they arise.

You Have:
8+ years of experience with delivering modern digital solutions
Experience with program or project management
Experience with executing in Agile methodologies
Experience in a flexible environment interacting with IT executives, business product owners, developers, and functional managers
Ability to identify risks proactively, recommend mitigating actions, and drive them to resolution
Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and work collaboratively across functional areas in support of client objectives to present and communicate analytical findings on an independent basis
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with managing vendors, including subcontractor management
Knowledge of Cloud technologies and infrastructure
Master’s degree in CS or Business
Agile or SAFe Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
