Location: US Remote
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with solid vendor management experience, who can manage all aspects of our e-commerce platform team's integration work with third party tools and services. This role involves heavy coordination with outside vendors on deliverables our team counts on to meet its product development goals.
In collaboration with senior Technical Project management you will be working with our e-commerce product and engineering leaders to facilitate requirements gathering and sign-off, manage delivery timelines and risk assessments all while being the fulcrum for all communication between vendors and our e-Commerce Teams.
As a Technical Project Manager at Chegg, you are detail-oriented, solution-focused and collaborative. You bring strong project management skills and communication skills. You will be the person who coordinates behind-the-scenes to make sure our most critical product development projects are delivered successfully. Our Technical Project Managers manage all factors that determine the project and team's success by ensuring delivery within time, cost and quality parameters, taking work from discovery through delivery, including resource management, dependency mapping, scheduling and development of project plans as well as project and team level reporting.

The Chegg Learn Portfolio Management Organization supports the planning and delivery of Chegg's key strategic and operational initiatives. We partner closely with business, product, engineering, marketing and operations leadership to ensure alignment from strategy to delivery. Responsibilities:

• Facilitation of end-to-end scoping and estimation
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage the planning to execution process of product engineering projects.

• Monitor scheduling, project flow, dependency mapping, planning and resource management from accepted concepts through delivery for product engineering projects.
• Manage the development, maintenance and distribution of complex status reporting to manage and communicate expectations and potential risks across the organization.
• Identify and escalate issues to leadership, as appropriate.
• Facilitate effective and efficient meetings.
• Escalate and radiate impediments for resolution and assist with identifying and mitigating risk.

• Engage multiple roles and stakeholders in critical discussions for consensus building.
• Acts as a point of contact for project team members, clearly and consistently communicating the needs of the organization.

Requirements:

• You have a strong understanding of Project Management principles and appropriate agile methodologies and processes.
• Experience working with technical 3rd party vendors
• You have experience driving Product Engineering projects

• You have worked in an agile framework.
• You take ownership of problems and never shy away from a challenge.
• You are flexible and tolerate ambiguity while still operating effectively.
• You are a self-learner, willing to learn new skills, industries, and platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-5 years' experience in a Technical Project Management role with platform (backend) product development teams
• Solid understanding of an engineering's role within an organization
• Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
• Proficiency in project management software tools such as Jira Software, Jira Align and Smartsheet

The pay range for this position is $60 -77 per hour.The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
