Duties and Responsibilities :• Helps to ensure compliance on Research and other sponsored projects including federal grants and contracts
• Tracks time and effort reports
• Serves as the technical assistant for Kuali Research and other software tools
• Assists research compliance manager and the office with administering Research and Sponsored project compliance programs including the Institutional Review Board, Responsible Conflict of Interest, and Research Conflict of Interest
• Assists with tracking projects and progress including those associated with the Title III Activity
• Provides project and budget management support
• Tracks MOUs, and other project agreements and coordinates reviews by general counsel• Assists with Sponsored Programs training
• Assists with project announcements, newsletters and other communications
• Assists with data requests and project reports
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Research Compliance Manager or designee
A Bachelors degree is required.
1 to 2 years of experience in grant/contract administration, or assisting with compliance programs.
Experience preferred in using research database tools like Kuali research.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with individuals
from all areas of the academic community. Ability to effectively communicate in writing; general knowledge preferred of Federal regulations, guidelines, and practices.
