Technical Pipeliner - The Woodlands, TX

The Technical Pipeliner will be based in The Woodlands, TX. The Technical Pipeliner is intended to be qualified to perform the majority of maintenance, electrical, measurement, and repair tasks.

Responsibilities May Include:
Works autonomously at varying times and in diverse weather conditions, at remote field locations and is available for callout.
Participates and successfully completes training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings.
Reviews and follows procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards.
Damage Prevention
Conducts routine inspection, calibration and repair of end devices such as transmitters, switches, fire eyes, hazardous gas detection, level detection, loop tuning, etc.
Accurately completes documentation such as; timesheets, work orders, safe job plans\work permits and regulatory reports.
Performs and accurately documents regulatory required inspections. Oversees contractors, providing specialty services (Quality Assurance, Quality Control).
Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization Maintain PLC, HMI equipment, software, pipeline valves and actuators.
Maintain and repair motor control equipment Maintenance and repair of prime mover and pumps.
Sampling and testing of product streams for quality control and accurate measurement.
Maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices.
Participates in available cross training to effectively develop skills in themselves and peers.
One Calls - Protecting the pipeline from third party damage, oversee excavations and third party encroachments and perform damage prevention duties under company policy and procedures
Maintain, calibrate and repair measurement equipment (including meters, provers, flow computers, etc.)
Maintains and repairs instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Assist in the DOT compliance work with the Pipeline Integrity Dept.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must maintain a valid Drivers License.
Able to read and comprehend technical procedures, and / or governmental regulations.
Willing and able to perform and comply with the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Works safely near large, hot, high-speed machines.
Works extended hours, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays
Travel 10% of the time
Work inside gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
Regularly stoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 3 minutes
Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the gas plant
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Occasionally exerts pulling force of 130 pounds
Occasionally may climb A-frame ladders
Must live/relocate within 45 minutes of the site
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of applicable experience on NGL Pipeline Operations
2+ years of experience with liquid measurement

Midstream
