Job Description
- Builds and maintains a network of customers to identify new sales leads.
- Understanding complex technical products, services, or solutions and effectively communicating their functionalities, benefits, and applications to potential customers.
- Communicate with various levels of customers to identify and understand their product and service needs to identify and suggest products to meet those needs.
- Demonstrate the functions of our products to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise and provide solutions.
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer relationship problems.
- Provide weekly periodic reports and forecasts of foreseen sales to the team.
- Target new industries that will bring new business and expand our network.
- Participate in tradeshows, from building booths to displays to showcasing our products and services and informing visitors of our products and services.
- Analyze administration or production plant needs and demonstrate adaptability and reliability to minimize confusion and build rapport.
- Collaborate with all cross-functional departments, including but not limited to customers, administration, production, and engineering departments.
- Assist in production plants with new product installation, obtain dimensional profiles and/or evaluate the condition of existing products.
- New Business Development, Account Management, and Relationship Building skills
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful business plans
- Sales experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams
- Ability to function and adapt well in high-paced and, at times, stressful environments.
- Experience in the packaging industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Ability to travel 50% of the time within the United States.
- Ability to make cold calls and establish connections.
- Technically minded with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and innovation
