Form of workIn this role, you will develop architecture, test requirements, documentation, and enablement content to grow Juniper's business by providing repeatable, qualified designs across the Juniper Data Center and AI network portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consultation as a domain specialist (SME) for the design, engineering, sale, and implementation of sophisticated products, applications, and solutions.
- Use your outstanding industry and product knowledge to engage and influence field and customer technology strategies through showcasing Juniper technologies during technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concept, and field engagement reviews.
- Collaborate with sales teams, vendors, and industry partners in assessing potential application of our products ensuring that optimum systems solutions are provided to new and existing customers.
- Originate and architect detailed design, engineering, and implementation specifications for next-generation networks and solutions.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong professional relationships within the Product Marketing teams and Sales community.
- Deliver training and support to our industry partners and customer engineers.

Qualifications:
- Experience designing/engineering Data Center networks; including aspects of DC Security, as well as public, and hybrid Private/Public Cloud technology solutions.
- Knowledge of AI networks, including its critical network services, such as load balancing and congestion management, to minimize Job Completion Time.
- Experience leading technical design reviews and solving multi-dimensional problems.
- Expertise in Juniper product line, key competitors, and vertical market use cases.
- Confirmed understanding and hands-on experience with networking industry technologies: specifically, multi-tenant routing and switching technology domains.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills (including written) with experience in customer-facing sales and support activities.
- Proven technical capability, ability to learn quickly, and apply skills in new protocols and applications. DC Routing Protocols (IGPs, EGPs, EVPN, Layer-3 VPN's) and Encapsulations (VXLAN, geneve) Datacenter network design (Clos architectures, underlay/overlay Fabrics, NSX-T, multicast).
- Minimum of 10 year's experience in a technical role as a field-facing Engineer.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum Salary: $157,696.00
Maximum Salary:$226,688.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $157,696.00 and $226,688.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
