You possess a crucial understanding of how to deconstruct a concept into its fundamental components and create a proof-of-concept to bring it to life. Embracing AI and No-Code/Low-Code tools, you efficiently progress from idea to prototype, recognizing the effort required to elevate a POC to a production-grade system.

Your discerning eye for design leads you to prioritize both elegance and simplicity, ensuring your work is not only functional but aesthetically pleasing. You are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and hold a deep respect for Product Management and Marketing function. THE JOB

As the Lead Full-Stack Engineer within the Media & Sponsorship Division, you will spearhead the development of cutting-edge fan engagement products and internal tools to amplify brand & marketer experiences. Your role is crucial in turning conceptual ideas into reality, straddling both the strategy and execution of product development. You will serve both as an individual contributor, but also help lead various contractor and vendor teams to deliver on impactful outcomes.

As part of this role, you will lead and/or support various initiatives including, but not restricted to, building consumer facing web & mobile applications, discord bots, programmatically generated AI web pages, consumer experiences using AI tools, LoFi Unity games and various internal tools that support the overall growth of the division. You will start as an Individual contributor with high likelihood of team and remit growth over time.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Lead as the 'founding engineer' for our innovative Data & Fandom Products team, driving the development of products that resonate with fans and brands alike.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally, providing technical oversight and participating in strategic discussions to align products with business goals. Interface regularly with Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Product and Commercial teams.

  • Rapidly prototype and develop proofs-of-concept, play the architect & developer roles for internal tools, validating the technical feasibility and business viability of new ideas.

  • Enhance existing brand activations and consumer experiences, ensuring they are technologically advanced and user-centric.

  • Decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions, and map these solutions to a long-term technology architecture.

  • Over time, groom and grow a team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 8+ years of Full-Stack software development experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing consumer-facing applications. Experience working across Hardware, Software & Payment stacks is a plus.

  • Comprehension of full-stack web architecture and appetite for experimentation with modern LLM / GenAI stack. Any experience with AR/VR/Spatial Computing is a plus.

  • Working understanding of basic Web3 principles and the Crypto/NFT ecosystem.

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern app development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Next.js.

  • PHP experience is a plus.

  • Experience and appreciation for Low-Code/No-Code tools for rapid prototyping such as Bubble, Zapier, Retool, Replit etc.

  • Ability to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously, while also contributing as an individual for experimentation and prototyping.

  • Strong collaboration skills, with a respect for and understanding of cross-functional roles, particularly in product management and marketing.

  • A creative and entrepreneurial mindset, with a continuous learning attitude and a keen sense of urgency.
