SalaryAVTECH Research Corp is looking for a full-time Senior Technical Editor in government supplied spaces in the 561st Weapons Squadron (WPS), building 1114 located on Nellis AFB, NV.
Duties:
- Serve as the senior Technical Editor for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Air Employment Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (AETTP). Responsible for managing AETTPs and FMS tactics/flash bulletins from final FDO review through distribution.
- Ensure information adheres to editing guidelines, standards, and software used to create AETTP. Responsible for reviewing all information received from subject matter experts for proper format and style guide usage.
- Accomplish final production of AETTP. After SME and FDO final review, produce a final manual in Adobe Acrobat with all links to external documents attached. Coordinate with FMS program managers for final quality control (QC) review.
- Maintain FMS AETTPs on website. After final QC, upload manuals onto the FMS section of the appropriate website.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Current Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- At least 3 years Technical Editing experience using Adobe Office Suite (i.e., Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe FrameMaker) and Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Must be familiar with AFTTP 3-1/3-3 publications and Tactics/Flash bulletins.
- In-depth knowledge of military publications (Air Force Instructions, Joint Publications, Air Land Sea Space Application).
- Worked in an environment which required interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership traits, and strong oral and written communications abilities.
Work start date: ASAP or as negotiated.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
