We have a need for an experienced Technical Content Editor to assist our project teams in reviewing and editing various technical documents and materials (including technical training documents, manuscripts, briefing documents, contracts, etc.).
This position is a part-time contract opportunity and can be 100% remote. Offers highly flexible work schedule that can be completed during off hours if needed (nights, weekends, etc.). Competitive hourly compensation will be offered that will be determined based on the candidates level of experience.
Target Skills and Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Excellent attention to detail in project management and writing/editing tasks.
- Ability to edit and review various documents and materials including technical training documents, white papers, manuscripts, briefing documents, SOWs, etc.
- Ability to set up templates, edit, and format documents to align with specific styles, guidelines, and rules (organizational style guides, APA 7, AP Style, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with acute attention to detail, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Flexible and able to adjust quickly to shifting priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts or related discipline (English, Communications, Public Relations, etc.) desired.
