Job Description:
As a Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and maintenance of key information technology and fraud management systems. You will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency of existing systems, as well as collaborating with leadership to develop and deploy innovative solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing technical guidance and support to staff members on various systems and applications. The Technical Consultant may work from any of our market areas, Covington, Houma, Lafayette, Morgan City, or New Orleans.
Expectations:
  • Perform comprehensive analyses on hardware, software, and network capabilities to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Consult with management and other departments to understand business requirements and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Enhance system efficiency by collaborating with end-users to understand their needs and challenges while delivering innovative solutions.
  • Develop and maintain centralized Fraud Reporting platforms and processes to effectively monitor and address fraudulent activities.
  • Document processes and monitor system performance metrics to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist in implementing the latest technological advancements and solutions to enhance system capabilities and security measures.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Utilize SharePoint and other Office 365 tools to develop automations for back-office processes, improving efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide training to end-users to increase their proficiency in utilizing technology and fraud management systems effectively.
  • Support M C Bank's IT organization in a backup capacity to ensure continuous system availability and reliability.
  • Continuously demonstrates strong adherence to Company policies and procedures, as well as company values.
  • Minimal travel may be required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree or progress towards industry-specific certifications preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a related industry, with a strong understanding of technology and fraud risk management solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

  • Advanced knowledge of data protection, software encryption, and other security measures to safeguard sensitive information.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
