Title: Tech/Computer Support Analyst - Information Technology
Location: Onsite - San Francisco, CA 94158
Duration: 4 Months Contract (possible extension)
Shift: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
Pay rate: $24.98/hr
Job Description:
- Device Asset Management Assistant, Mission Bay, 8hr DAYS M-F. Looking for someone who is enthusiastic, good customer service.
Position Identified:
- Field Support Technician/Client Tech Analyst 1 yr. Exp – Information Technology
iPads & iPhones:
- For new devices: install glass shield & case, update Name on Wallpaper to User's Name, add charger / power cord as needed
- For old devices: remove broken glass / old case, wipe with appropriate cleaning solution, dry, install new glass shield & case, etc, label, and stack in appropriate storage for re-use
- For end-of-life devices: Label device for resale, stack in appropriate location, and inform Recycling for pick up
Computers & Peripherals
- Coordinate / Follow-up pick up of computers with IT for imaging
- Receive / follow-up receipt of computers with IT on deployment to User
- For old computers that are not end-of-life: remove any unnecessary attachments (personal stickers), wipe down, check power cord for fraying, replace power cord if necessary, label, stack in appropriate storage for re-use
- For end-of-life / broken computers and peripherals: remove what can be re-used such as cables, power cord, peripherals, adapters, etc,
- Stack broken equipment / cables / etc. in e-waste for Recycling to pick-up
- For old Mac computers: Label device for resale, stack in appropriate location, and inform Recycling for pick up
Education:
- High School diploma / GED required
Deliveries:
- Receive new and/or pick-up returned devices, peripherals, accessories, and other equipment
- Label those for processing (ex. iPhones / iPads for enrolment in DEP with CLS Tech, new computers for imaging, old computers/devices for re-imaging) and store in appropriate locations
- Label and store accessories and peripherals in appropriate/designated locations
- Deliver requests (accessories and peripherals) to appropriate locations and inform the Requestor that their request is ready for pick-up and where they can go for it
Inventory:
- Sort all available accessories and peripherals and stack them in designated locations (cabinets/racks/drawers) for easy pull for new requests
- Dispose of (e-waste / trash) available devices, accessories, and peripherals that are either broken or end-of-life
