JCI US Inc. is the US subsidiary of Japan Communications Inc., the pioneer of the MVNO model in telecommunications. In the US, we focus on three core areas: secure, private connectivity for IoT devices through SIM cards, and local 4G/5G networks, and research and development of new solutions and technologies to be used across the JCI Group. In combination with this, we are gearing up to establish ourselves internationally through emerging digital identity technologies and building a global system infrastructure for further growth. We are a small team in the US, operating at a heightened pace, leveraging the team size, with a strong team ethos and a get-it-done attitude.

Responsibilities

Tech Writer primary focus will be on documenting all JCI group MVNO System stack, Digital Certificate system (FPoS) in collaboration with Tech Writer in other location. Responsibilities will revolve around documenting each system in a standardized professional manner, while working closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and developers. The documentation created will be stored in a secure server for the employee to access when necessary. As such, this position will require the ability to manage version control and access tracking.

Candidates must be proficient in documentation, strong verbal communication, and a solid understanding of regulations and be able to act as an advisor on major regulations which effects telecom industry. Must be able to demonstrate proper documentation of a system to be shared among stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of enterprise system architecture in telecom companies.

Will be expected to handle a variety of daily tasks depending on where the higher demand is within the project scope. As such, good time-management skills, and a self-starter attitude will be beneficial. Qualifications

Skill set: Writing, Technical Writing tools, Interpretation

-Must be bilingual in Japanese and English

- 3 years of experience creating Technical Documentations

- 2 years of experience working with telecom systems stack

- 1 years of experience in telecom system support and trouble shooting

- 1 years of experience working with Nextwork

- 1 years of experience with large scale complex system build

Additional Details

Salary;: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Hybrid - Required in-office 3 days a week.
