Tech Leader Job Description

Reports to: Worship Arts Director: Isaac Brandt Samuelson

Hours: 10 Hours/Per Week; Sundays (7AM-1PM Mandatory)

General Staff Duties

The Tech Leader will oversee all Sunday Service (9AM & 11 AM) tech needs for Foothill Vineyard Church’s live stream & online presence, including but not limited to, camera operators, audio & propresenter slides. The Tech Leadermustbe able to take initiative and solve problems as they pop up in the moment during services immediately.

The Tech Leader is also responsible for managing our online presence. This process includes editing the final service videos & posting them on our church facebook/youtube/website/podcast in an organized & professional manner. The Tech Leader will also work alongside the Worship Arts Director in overseeing the church tech team. This includes recruitment, training and delegation of all tech team positions. Our goal is to have 4 scheduled tech volunteers per service each week. We want to equip our volunteers to do ministry with our full support as a leader.

The Worship Arts Director will update the Tech Leader of new projects on a monthly basis. Each project must be completed in a timely and orderly manner. The Tech Leader must remain flexible and available to be scheduled for events, in addition to Sunday Services, that require live streaming. If the Tech Leader is unavailable, they are responsible for training and scheduling a substitute.

Experience & Training:

· Leadership in the local church for 2+ years

· Experience working with Propresenter 7, Logic Pro X, Dante Virtual Soundcard, Dante Controller, Mac OS, Live streaming, and Audio routing, Planning Center

· Gifted in problem-solving, able to delegate responsibilities, and a team player

Qualifications:

· Ability to be a self-starter, leader of leaders, and detail-oriented

· Enthusiasm about abiding by and modeling FVC’s Values

· Good communication, teamwork, and flexibility

· General knowledge of the Vineyard movement of churches
