1. Job summary
AXA is a major insurance company throughout the world with 160 000 employees, 104 billion € of revenue and a presence in 57 countries. The revenue is well balanced between the different business lines: 40% in Property & Casualty, 35% in Savings and Asset Management and 25% in Protection and Health.
AXA has decided to expand the employee benefit business in several countries worldwide. To achieve this goal, AXA EB Partners has been created centrally with international teams. This Hub will support local development on EB products (Health, Protection, Pension)
EB Partners has been launched in 2015, it is now acting in 15 different countries with a team of 60 people of which 15 are in the IT EBP Department.
As an Insurtech, EB Partners supports AXA and external Entities the development Health & Employee Benefit business through especially the development of business digital solutions. For this a SaaS Cloud (AWS) solution (called SAM Suite) has been built with a low code philosophy allowing to expand this solution now in more than 10 countries. Business digital solutions declined from this global IT platform are:
- Sales & pre sales solutions (BtC, BtC, simulators, compactors)
- Technical Excellence solutions (Quotation including tailored quotes, Renewal, portfolio monitoring, BI engine)
- Smart back end solutions to store in the cloud contracts, products, employees details.
SAM Suite stack include:
- Front: React.js with also the build of an internal CMS/DATA Connector/Rules engine in no code mode
- Back: python, flask, and fastAPIs
- Cloud: AWS (Lambda, Step functions, DocumentDB, RDS, …)
EB Partners is accelerating its strategy to move to a No-Code solution (as we are already in Low code) and is looking for a new Techlead, including management of 2 to 4 full stack developers (may accelerate in link with EBP business).
Your Profile
Your mission is to primary look after the whole SAM Suite, an IT solution that has been split in many business application (for quotation, workflow, renewal, monitoring, back ends).
For this you have a double role to participate technically to the development of the platform but at the same time to well organize the different developers' actions and organization on the platform.
You structure challenges, establish action plans, and drives momentum in line with the customers and business needs. You report for this role to EBP CTO. A high level of autonomy and self-governance is required.
Your role is to
- Run several projects either in direct with your project team or with other IT project managers and make them a success.
- As Tech Lead, be the code owner of the Sam suite solution and its consistency, in link with your team.
- Participate actively in the definition of the IT strategy.
- In charge of the application of the SAM strategy.
- Ensure the quality of the 6 to 8 times a year releases.
- Promote the quality spirit in the team to help scale on a day-to-day basis.
- Participate actively to the Global Strategy of EB Partners
- Participate actively to the continuous innovation of our Digital tools
