Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses: Work experience directly related to the essential functions of the position may substitute for education at a rate of one (1) year of experience for each thirty (30) credit hours of education. Educational credit hours may not be substituted for experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (or 120 credit hours) with at least five (5) years related experience or ten (10) years related experience with a combination of post-secondary education in job related topics or experience in technical support of computers, peripherals, and software applications in similar distributed computing environment.
• CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent; or other generally accepted industry certification directly related to current organizational information technology requirements.
• CompTIA Network+ or MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) or equivalent; or other generally accepted industry certification directly related to current organizational information technology requirements.
• Microsoft Systems Administration Certification and/or Jamf Certified Admin Certification or equivalent experience/expertise to be determined by IT Director of Operations.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
• CCNA/CCNP/MCSE
Additional Special Qualifications
• Must possess a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:
• Work is performed in primarily in internal environments with possible exposure to inclement weather, and varying temperatures.
• Work requires regular and punctual attendance.
• Medium physical capacity required.
SALARY AND WORK YEAR:
Salary to be determined by individual training and experience level on current Information Technology Salary Schedule. This position is on a 244-Day contract.
