Tech at Lilly Technical Analyst – Content Management -EDO (P1-P3)

The Enterprise Data team is actively looking for a Technical Analyst. Are you passionate about using content and technology to meet business needs? If so, bring YOUR skills and talents to the Enterprise Data team where you’ll have the chance to create an impact on the lives of patients.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will work as with a growing organization which will support the entire Lilly enterprise, from Discovery to Manufacturing and Commercialization of our medicines. You will use content and data to solve multifaceted problems of a global business and the ever-evolving content and data landscape. Whether you are interested in optimizing our business, or driving efficiency into our operations, we have a position for you!

How You’ll Succeed:

  • By working jointly with business teams, you will identify business problems and translate the business process design into configuration specifications and provide valuable technical contributions to solve business needs.
  • You will participate in the requirements workshops, design, prototype, configuration activities to develop and document technical solutions to meet the business requirements.
  • You will maintain a broad understanding of business requirements and business test case scenarios and effectively communicate them to testers, in a way that is understandable and complete to achieve business and project objectives.
  • As a key contributor to this team, you will write or oversee creation and update of validation documentation and maintain it during lifecycle & release management.
  • You will leverage your technical expertise to execute and lead technical development/configuration activities, assess vendor releases and changes, and support data and content migration activities.
  • With a high level of curiosity, you will propose and prototype innovative ways of approaching business solutions using Veeva vendor emerging capabilities. Continuously prototype these approaches to ensure they are effective.

What You Should Bring:

  • Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e., GMP) and strong understanding of quality processes in IT.
  • Knowledge of cloud solutions, commercial configurable software (COTS) suppliers.
  • Experience with Agile and knowledge of JIRA.
  • Curiosity and passion and always be eager to learn and explore new technical capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of tools and technologies to influence IT strategy so that it provides best usage opportunities for business.
  • Business focused, looking to maximize benefits for the business and minimize downside risk.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, to be able to successfully influence both business and technical domains.
  • Self-management skills with a focus on results for prompt and accurate completion of challenging work.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Highly flexible, adapting to changes in priorities, requirements and processes is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
  • Knowledge of and experience with current IT technologies.
  • Experience with software development life cycle, spanning the lifecycle from project initiation to deployment.
