SDMI is seeking a Tech Aide to join our team and serve as the face of our organization.

A Day in the Life as a Tech Aide: You will be trained to recognize the difference between screening and diagnostic mammograms. You will preview the mammo and breast ultrasound schedule to ensure referrals are correct, consulting with the technologist when necessary. You will assist the department in the general duties performed daily in the department. Transport patients from the front desk, gives patients directions for exam, fills out paper work for procedures and chaperons exams when necessary. Must be able to spend a majority of the day on the phone, using the computer and directing patients to various depts. Will access computer when necessary to scan documents and verify appointment times for patients. May perform other job related duties as necessary for the efficient operation of SDMI.

- Prior customer service experience in customer-facing roles
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or patient-facing role

- Be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent
- Be energetic and self motivated
- Have the ability to work in fast-paced environment preparing patients for tests
- Be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task along with good communication, organizational skills and ability to follow instructions
You can expect to earn an hourly rate of $13
