SalaryPosition Summary (General Purpose): Work as directed by Team Leader to achieve the goals set for customer quality expectations, production requirements, scrap and rework, and customer delivery expectations. Follow all guidelines set forth by ISO 14001. Follow all work instructions as defined by the current revision located at the relevant work station.
Qualifications: (Basic knowledge, skills and abilities):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions.
- Able to read, understand, and apply work instructions.
- Able to read, understand, and follow all ISO 14001 guidelines.
- Must know basic Plex operation and able to understand PRP.
Primary Position Roles and Responsibilities:
- Read and understand prior shift tie-in information.
- Attend line meeting.
- Observe associates performing QIP checks.
- Ensure supply parts are available for line operation.
- Troubleshoot line down situations.
- Ensure associates are wearing proper safety equipment.
- Ensure quality parts are being produced by the associates by performing Kaizen checks.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work overtime, possibly with short notice.
- Be able to work in a fast pace environment, producing a quality product.
- Must be able to travel to customer with little or short notice.
Nonessential Skills and Experience (preferred):
- Previous manufacturing experience.
