About the Opportunity:

This is an opportunity for a Team Operations Associate to provide operational and sales support to one of the most successful residential real estate sales teams in the country. This role involves the day-to-day management of both streamlined processes and ad hoc requests to enhance the team’s operations, communications and productivity. By anticipating the needs of the team founders and agents, you resolve operational and administrative issues before they arise thereby ensuring the team is able to focus on what they do best. In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Operations to represent the team by serving as the initial point of contact to industry peers, clients and client representatives. You are someone that can spot an opportunity to enhance and optimize existing workflows; someone that thrives on operational efficiency and improving a team’s overall sales output and production.
About the Company and Team:
Our client is a top-performing residential sales team currently at Compass. They started our business 18 years ago and have sold over $2B in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The team is composed of 8 individual sales agents who for the last decade have been consistently ranked in the Top 25 in New York and the Top 250 nationally by the WSJ. They provide end to end transaction management to a diverse clientele ranging from high-net-worth individuals, financial, legal, and media executives, family offices, money managers, athletes, and entertainers along with tech entrepreneurs, founders, real estate developers, and investors. They strive to transcend professional standards by having created a business and culture where each team’s role is defined and specialized and spreads across the various disciplines of our industry. The roles overlap at key moments through the various processes and stem from a deep working knowledge of construction, architecture and design, the market economics of the real estate industry, and what the market is demanding and signaling that it will demand in the future. They have also enabled the team from an administrative and processes standpoint to be nimble yet disciplined and integrated with tailor-made solutions for their various clientele.Role and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely and effectively with the team leaders to keep the team well informed of upcoming client commitments and responsibilities and follow up as necessary
  • Keep track of the team’s real-estate portfolio ensuring property listings are introduced to the live market at the highest caliber by gathering all the essential agreements, pre-listing material and marketing collateral
  • Update all information on external platforms including personal team website, StreetEasy, and REBNY syndication platforms
  • Coordinate and prepare board packages for clients in accordance with the requirements of co-op and condo boards, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
  • Collaborate on the full deal process from origination to closing including preparation of market data and comps, property site visits with clients, contract negotiation, and working with lawyers, wealth managers and agents
  • Assist with managing the team's rental portfolio, including drafting leases, renewals, property management and tenant/owner interactions
  • Generate listing reports for property owners, compiling relevant market data, property information, and comparative analysis
  • Ensuring all pertinent correspondence (emails, contracts, financial documents, etc.) are supplied to team lead for proper follow up and filed for record keeping
  • Work directly with the Director of Operations to collaborate and implement on operational improvements, working with the team to execute best practices in structuring an efficient work flow
  • Frequently evaluate and analyze team productivity and performance
  • Oversee the schedules of the team members by scheduling appointments
  • Update and maintain the team’s internal database of active clients, in-process deals and closed transactions
  • Assist with other related clerical duties as required by the team
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects depending on needs of the office
  • Attend appraisals, photoshoots, designer walkthroughs and inspections as needed
Qualifications:
  • Must have your NYS real estate license
  • Minimum 2 years of market specific residential real-estate experience in New York City
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Dropbox, Zoom/Teams
  • Proficient in Manhattan residential real estate transaction workflows (lead-to-close)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, integrity and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Pleasant and professional demeanor at all times with great attention to detail
  • Expectation of confidentiality on all business matters
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

70K base + commissions
