OVERVIEW/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the execution of production orders. Works alongside team members leading work flow in a manufacturing and assembly environment. The Team Leader will operate out of the manufacturing facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hands on work alongside team members driving efficiency to achieve goals.
- Ensure various production forms are completed in full and accurately.
- Maintains quality and safety while enforcing organization standards providing coaching and re-training as needed.
- Review and comprehend approved IFM drawing sets to plan and communicate assembly build.
- Suggest process improvements to maximize efficiencies and reduce cost.
- Train team members on all applicable Work Instructions and ensure compliance.
- Seek to improve existing standards and procedures to support continuous improvement within the department in support of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Collaborate with Production Supervisor on manpower needs.
- Distribute, review, and ensure timecards are completed on time and accurately.
- Monitor attendance and maintain appropriate tracking system.
- Monitor team member performance and report performance feedback to Production Supervisor.
- Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety on compliance within assigned work cell.
- Manage tools checked out to their work area.
- Complete excess material returns at completion of production run.
- Reporting of completed production within ERP system.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Management on pick list delivery and priorities.
- Maintain 7S compliance and a culture of safety.
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Continuously stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear.
- Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms at waist level and below the waist; and work in limited space.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor

LOCATION:
Construction Innovations facilities and offices are located in Sacramento, CA and Mather, CA.
COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $19.18 - $21.83. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

- High School diploma and two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred; 3+ years or equivalent
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing & assembly environment
- Experience with lean manufacturing
- Experience identifying opportunities and problem solving to find solutions
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Microsoft AX 2012 experience preferred
- Process and detail oriented
- Organizational and time management skills
