Posting Title Teaching Fellow (Spring 2024) College of Law Department DAL-CoL-Academic Affairs-517200 Job Location Downtown Dallas Full Time/Part Time Part-Time Pay Rate $1,000.00 per semester Salary Information $1,000.00 per semester Department SummaryTeaching Fellows are 2L, 3L, and 4L law students that performed well in first year legal writing and successfully completed the Legal Writing III (Teaching Fellows) class in the fall semester. Teaching Fellows work with the First Year Legal Writing Program in the spring semester on research, in-class writing workshops, office hours, assignment feedback for pass/fail assignments, and assistance with the Judge's Gavel Motion Competition. Teaching Fellows will be paid a stipend in the amount of $1000.00 for these responsibilities. Teaching Fellows are graduate students who do not have primary responsibility for teaching a course for credit. They perform under the supervision of the instructor of record for the course(s) to which they are assigned, and provide general assistance to the instructional process, such as grading, tutoring, and course preparation. Teaching Fellows are not permitted to perform research or administrative tasks not related to instruction. Teaching Fellows may not be listed as instructor of record.
