Are you passionate about Tech Education, Video Games, Coding, Python, Roblox™, App Design, Digital Movies, Robotics, Drones, Minecraft™ or STEM?
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead and Assistant Instructors in our After School Programs.

• Full school year of programs available, minimum of 12 week commitment required, 2:30 - 5:00 PM, 2 to 5 days per week
• Opportunities for camp positions in the summer.
• In-room with kids ages 6-14
• PAID training!
• No formal experience required, but experience with kids or technology highly desirable
• Spend time with our AMAZING students having fun with technology!

General Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to sites throughout the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan or Queens
• Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
• Strong technology skills are preferred, such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, digital arts, competitive gaming, significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, etc.
• Available to start online training immediately (Train at your own pace.)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer accommodations or work sponsorship.
• School Year Program: Must be available to work a minimum of 12 weeks, Monday through Friday (M/W or T/TH or F all 5 days)

We begin recruiting for summer positions in December and positions are filled on a 'rolling' basis.
Experience and Skills
Lead Instructor Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• College graduates with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related fields and/or significant relevant work experience are ideal. College juniors/seniors with significant experience managing kids are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience teaching kids is not required, but the ideal candidate will have some experience with kids in a formal or informal setting (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
• Ability to lead a class of up to 13 kids solo and 30 kids with an assistant in a technology setting
• Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience, location, and availability
• Potential opportunities to move into supervisory roles in future years
• Ability to manage and safely transfer equipment as needed for various classes (shoebox sized)
• Strong preference for those with DOE clearance or who currently work in DOE schools, but not required
• Successful candidates must complete the DOE compliance process within two weeks of offer to be hired

Assistant Instructor Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• College age student studying education, computer science, video game development, digital arts, film, information technology, or in similar fields are encouraged to apply.
• Those with strong tech or digital arts and troubleshooting skills will be most successful in this position
• Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting is a plus, such as babysitting, volunteering, coaching, tutoring, etc.
• Rate: Dependent on experience, location, and availability
• Strong assistants may have opportunities to move into the Lead Teacher role after teaching a full round of classes
• Successful candidates must complete the DOE compliance process within two weeks of offer to be hired
