- Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday – Friday 7:30am - 6pm, OFF on Fridays

- Ensure instructional activities are developmentally appropriate and reflect their individual interests.
- Complete required lesson plans and maintain accurate and timely documentation of all required activities and interactions.
- Ensure that assigned equipment and materials are adequately maintained in safe working order and recommends new equipment as appropriate.
- Maintain positive communications with child's parents/guardians and incorporates their recommendations into child's daily routine.
- Food Service Professional credentialed from the ServSafe National Restaurant Association obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Will accept Food Handler Card through Food Handler Essentials Course through State Food Safety within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or job transfer date required.
- Heart Saver AED obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
- Licensed Teacher preferred.
- Based on Kansas State Regulations, one or more of the following is required: 1) A child
development associate credential, OR; 2) An A.B. or B.S degree in child development or early
childhood education, including a supervised practicum; and three months’ teaching experience in
licensed centers or preschools, OR; 3) An A.B. or B.S degree in a related academic discipline, and
12 hours of academic study or equivalent training in child development, early childhood education,
curriculum resources, nutrition, child guidance, parent education, supervised practicum and
administration of early childhood programs and six months’ teaching experience in licensed centers or preschools.
- Must have CDA or related degree.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a KDHE-licensed childcare center is required.
- Previous experience with children ages 3-5 strongly preferred.
