Job Title: ESL-Certified Instructor

Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated ESL-certified instructors and substitutes for the Summer 2024 semester. As an ESL instructor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality English language instruction to international adult students across all proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced. Our curriculum covers various aspects of the English language, including reading, writing, listening, speaking, and academic skills necessary for college preparation and TOEFL.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs and proficiency levels of adult ESL learners.

- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to language acquisition and skill development.

- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with program objectives and student learning outcomes.

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum coherence and instructional effectiveness.

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.

-Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administration regarding student progress, concerns, and program updates.

Schedule:

- Monday to Thursday

- Morning classes: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM

- Evening classes: 5:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Qualifications:

- Enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate about teaching and learning.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as English or education.

- TEFL certification or a minimum of 3 months’ experience teaching ESL.

- Master’s degree in TESOL or a related field (preferred but not required).
