The Northwest ISD Teacher Interview Fair is an event open to applicants who are interested in becoming a teacher within Northwest ISD. In order to be able to attend the event, applicants must complete the online Teacher Interveiw Fair application through TalentEd and meet established criteria.
Applicants should be certified to teach, be accepted in an alternative certification program, or anticipate teacher certification by May 2023 to be considered. Applicants will need to complete the TalentEd EPI online teacher screener in addition to submitting a complete application.
Applicants who meet the criteria will receive an invitation to attend the event. NISD will extend approximately 200 invitations to applicants for this event. Once the Teacher Interview Fair is filled to capacity, applicants will be placed on a waiting list in the event of a cancellation.
The Teacher Interview Fair will include a designated time for applicants to mingle and visit with campus administrators. In addition, each attendee will receive at least two interviews with NISD campus administrators. Prior to the event, requests for specific campus interviews will be obtained from the applicants. Please note that we will do our best to accommodate requests, however you may be interviewed at a campus that matches your certification but may not be your first or second choice. It is important to remember that you are getting an interview with an NISD administrator.
*Interviews conducted at the NISD Teacher Career Fair do not take the place of interviews for positions on specific campuses. Job offers will not be extended to applicants at the Teacher Career Fair.
In addition to meeting and interviewing with campus administrators, applicants will have the opportunity to visit with specific department leaders and learn about the various supports and opportunities that arise within NISD. Applicants will have the opportunity to view technology available to our teachers and learn more about our benefits and insurance options.
Please note this event is not open to the public, nor is it designed to meet the needs of those seeking a clerical, maintenance, paraprofessional or administrative position within NISD.
